Doti district has been included in the Rural Community
Infrastructure Works (RCIW) Programme
in 1995/96 and is rendering its support directly through its District
Programme Advisors, a District Gender Advisor and one local NGO.
During the 2001/2 working season 1 core project (rural
road), 8 micro
projects of different types such as fruit tree farming, irrigation pond
and nursery development projects were implemented.
